So I got a new camera on Wednesday! I haven't been keeping up with my blog like I should have because I've been anxiously awaiting the purchase of my Nikon D60! Now with that taken care of, my hubby and I have been keeping ourselves busy taking the kids on daytrips, thereby giving us plenty of opportunities to test out the new camera.
On Wednesday night we took the kids to the beach and got some pictures of the water, the sunset and of course the kids playing. It was so cute to watch our oldest daughter using my old Kodak EasyShare. We may have a budding photographer on our hands!
Then on Thursday we took them to the Zoo. They had a great time but it was a very long day. We took tons of pictures of the animals but they would have been nicer if cages weren't in the way! (of course you have to appreciate it's safer that way though!!)
Finally yesterday hubby and I took a daytrip just for us-a belated anniversary celebration-up to the Collingwood Scenic Caves about an hour away. What a sight to be seen! It is beautiful up there! Hubby and I were completely in awe of the beauty of nature that is so close to home yet we've never seen before. It's amazing what you find in your own backyard when you go looking for it............

Wow, those caves are really amazing!
Hubs and I always plan to go be tourists in our own town, but we never seem to get to it.
I definitely will try harder to make time for it now. Never know what I could be missing!
So true, we've lived in Toronto for 4 years and we've still not seen a lot of the crucial sights!
